Sekelompok siswa sebuah sekolah dasar di Surakarta, Jawa Tengah, berkumpul di halaman sekolah. Mereka mengelilingi foto yang dipajang di halaman sekolah. Bukan foto biasa, sebab dia adalah salah seorang bapak bangsa, yaitu Abdurrahman Wahid atau Gus Dur.
 

Kamis (8/4), sebanyak 150 siswa SD Joglo Surakarta bersama-sama menggambar wajah Gus Dur dalam rangka peringatan 100 hari meninggalnya mantan presiden Indonesia ke-4 itu.
Hanya berbekal pensil dan alat hapus, mereka mulai menggambar wajah Gus Dur dalam kertas putih. Sebagai model, dipasang kain berukurang 90x150 centimeter yang sudah tercetak wajah Gus Dur. Bahkan, salah seorang siswa yang dianggap mirip Gus Dur diminta untuk berdiri di samping foto.

Anak mirip Gus Dur bernama Zulfikar Soni Pratama diminta memakai batik coklat lengan panjang, peci hitam, dan berkacamata. “Kata teman-teman, sekilas saya mirip Gus Dur,” jelas siswa kelas IV ini. Dia mengaku bangga dianggap mirip seorang tokoh nasional yang banyak berjasa bagi Indonesia.

Tak semua gambar yang dibuat bagus. Ada yang asal gambar wajah, bahkan ada yang hanya menonjolkan kacamata dan peci hitamnya. Salah seorang guru Pujiyana tidak mempermasalahkan hasil gambar anak didiknya. Sebab, pihaknya hanya ingin mendidik anak-anak untuk menghargai dan meneladani apa-apa yang sudah diperbuat Gus Dur. “Salah satunya, dengan menggambar wajah Gus Dur,” terangnya.

Salah seorang siswa kelas IV, Kenaga Suryadarma mengatakan selama ini mengidolakan Gus Dur. Sebab, “Gus Dur orangnya lucu, baik, dan perhatian ke semua orang.”. Dia berdoa semoga Tuhan mengampuni dosa-dosa Gus Dur dan menempatkannya di surga.

Selain menggambar, anak-anak juga menggelar doa bersama. Mereka berharap Gus Dur diterima di sisi Tuhan dikarenakan jasa-jasanya yang telah mempersatukan umat beragama di Indonesia. Mereka juga berharap bisa meneladani dan meneruskan cita-cita perjuangan Gus Dur.
